What happens when a course is canceled by WMI?

If a course is canceled (due to weather, insufficient registration etc.), you will be notified and withdrawn. Our Admissions Office will try to place you in the course on a different date. If we are unable, registration fees and other payment will be refunded.

Accreditation

Our certificates and courses meet the national accreditation training standards established by Transport Canada for the fishing, commercial and recreational marine industry. Provincially, we are accredited by The Private Training Institutions Branch of BC and internationally by Det Norske Veritas – Germanischer Lloyd, the international classification society. We have also been granted Education Quality Assurance of B.C. designation that allows us to enrol international students holding study permits.
